Skúli Mogensen invests in young founders
Skúli Mogensen and Ólafur Hand have invested in Spjallmenni.is, a company founded by entrepreneurs in their early twenties and now called Menni. Viðskiptablaðið reported the news.

The company focuses on practical uses of AI and has built a solution for service companies that connects, sorts and answers most messages coming in through website chat, email, Google, Meta, WhatsApp, Booking and other channels. The AI agent answers in more than 100 languages, including Icelandic.
The company's founders are Ástvaldur Ari Guðmundsson, Daníel Ólafur Stefánsson Spanó and Róbert Híram Ágústsson.
The solution was already in use at the Hvammsvík sea baths and ABC Hotel in Keflavík. In the article, Skúli says the solution and its founders sparked his and Ólafur's interest in investing, as the opportunities for such solutions in the coming years are considerable.
